Roof Repair, What's Involved
A roof repair is targeted work on a covering that is otherwise sound: slipped or cracked tiles, failed pointing, split flashings, blocked or broken valleys, storm damage and leaks around chimneys and abutments.
The skill is in diagnosis. Water entering high on a roof can run several metres along a rafter before it drops, so the damp patch on your ceiling rarely sits under the actual failure. We check the loft as well as the covering, follow the track back and fix the source.

We work from the inside out as well as the outside in: loft inspection for damp timber and daylight, then the covering, valleys, flashings and penetrations. Staining patterns, batten marks and run lines tell you where water has actually travelled.

Can you fix it in the rain?
