Terms & Conditions
The basis on which we quote for and carry out work.
About these terms
These terms apply to work carried out by MB Construction, Crumlin Drive, St Mellons, Cardiff. Where we agree something different in writing for your job, that agreement takes priority.
Quotes
Quotes are free and carry no obligation. We visit the property, look at the job and give you a fixed price in writing. We do not work to day rates. The price covers the work described in the quote; anything found later that was not visible or reasonably foreseeable at the time of the visit will be discussed and priced with you before we carry it out.
Accepting and scheduling work
Work is booked once you accept the quote. Start dates depend on materials and weather, and outdoor work such as roofing, rendering and resin can be delayed by conditions on the day. We will keep you informed if a date needs to move.
Access and site conditions
We need safe access to the working area, and where relevant to power and water. You are responsible for telling us about anything hidden that we could not reasonably know about, such as buried services or previous repairs.
Payment
Payment terms are set out in your quote. Where materials must be ordered in advance, a deposit may be requested before the order is placed.
Guarantee
Our work carries a 10-year workmanship guarantee. The guarantee covers our workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by storms, accidents, third parties, alterations made by others, or ordinary wear and tear, and manufacturer warranties on materials are provided by those manufacturers.
Insurance
We hold public liability and employer's liability insurance. Documents are available on request before work starts.
Cancellation
Tell us as early as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. Where materials have already been ordered or bespoke items made, those costs may still be payable.
Complaints
Contact us on 07496 278272 or at mitchb42@yahoo.com and we will come back and look at it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
